Justice for Cecil
On average, foreign hunters will export 665 wild lions as trophies each year. This is nearly two lions a day. On July 1st, 2015, Cecil the lion became another statistic. Cecil, the head of his pride was lured off Hwange Game Reserve where he was killed by a big game hunter. The death of Cecil has become of great significance due to his decade long role in the ongoing efforts to monitor the impact of sport-hunting by The Oxford University’s Wildlife Research Conservation Unit (WildCRU).
Help us make a difference and protect these magnificent animals! $10 of each Cecil purchase will be donated to the The Oxford University’s Wildlife Research Conservation Unit (WildCRU).
